As Managing Consultant at IBM Global Business Services – Institute for Business Value, I am responsible for identifying emerging supply chain developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations that address critical business challenges and help clients capitalize on new opportunities.
I started my career in the automotive industry and received a Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Applied Science Hamburg in Material Management and Logistics.
I joined IBM in 1999 at IBM Unternehmensberatung GmbH. In 2001 I moved to the e-business Innovation Center and from 2003 on I’m part of IBM Global Business Services.
I have a 9 years experience as Consultant. During the years I was mainly within the procurement and sourcing topics. During my career, I was Project Leader for several procurement & supply chain projects (cross-industrial) incl. Project Management , Process Analysis / Design, ROI, Solution selection, Roll out.
I have supported customers with strategic planning, transforming processes and organizations and enhance them to provide value added services to their customers.
Since 2001 I’m lecturer at the University of Applied Science Hamburg for Strategic Sourcing.
